Hi, can you tell us the difference between Altace and metoprolol? What different effects do they each have that are different from each other? Are...I developed this dry "tickling in the throat cough" right around the time my Doc diagnosed me with HTN and put me on Altace. I am a smoker, but had never had a cough like ...I did do 7 weeks of Prilosec, it didn't make any difference in the cough, nor do any allergy medicines or cough suppressants .
